Great jacket for the UK: Bought his jacket for my son for his semester abroad in the UK. He said it's not waterproof but definitely keeps him dry while not making him sweat like a typical rain jacket. He also wears it as an everyday jacket. He can easily fold it up and put in his backpack which is a huge plus.

Just purchased it a few weeks ago and love it. Fits well and exceeds expectations so far. This is replacing the same style o purchase 26 years ago that unfortunately no longer fits me. But it's still in use as I handed down to my son.

The jacket is very comfortable and fits great, although calling it water resistant is a bit of a stretch. I use it for work often and I sometimes will be out in the rain, if it's anything more than a slight drizzle you would want to reconsider your outer layer as this thing will get soaked pretty quickly. Also not meant for anything other than a light shell, it doesn't keep you very warm if it's chilly out.

Very well made, feels substantive, without being over weight. A good addition to my hiking gear - when you need more than a fleece, but a jacket is too much

I bought this last month but it was not what I was looking for. I like a full zip-up jacket, and this was half zip and I don't like that style.

I love this jacket with the improved materials I actually had one of the first editions of this jacket 30 yrs ago or so

I bought this as a gift for my son as he has been wanting one for a while. He loved the fit,color, and the large pocket in the front! If LL BEAN would offer a men's version in solid purple he would buy one of them in that color as well!
