I wanted a pair of trail running shoes for multiple reasons. My first experience with them was during a multi-day move climbing in and out of a 16ft box truck, carrying things into a house and up and down stairs, and 2+ days of cleaning out multiple storage units to load/empty the truck And these shoes were amazing!! After a little recovery, some short trail runs are next:)

Previously owned for a decade a new balance hiking shoe which I wore in the PNW every summer while doing outside chores, work or outdoor gardening etc. loved the fit comfort and durability of that shoe. It took a lot of abuse and held up well until recently when the soles came apart.That model is no longer available in size 14 so I tried this model so far fit is good and the shoe is comfortable. Time will tell if it holds up and is as durable as the previous NB model. So far, I’m pleased with the shoe.
