New Balance Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this shoe fits significantly better than most court shoes. The toe box is perfectly sized for my foot, which is about 4 inches wide. I ordered a 9.5, and it seems to be true to size. The only minor issue I’ve encountered is the heel. It feels slightly too high in the shoe, which makes it feel like it might slip out. However, I’ve found that tying the shoes tighter helps to alleviate this issue.

Very supportive with a roomy toe box and the airflow in this shoe is really good. The sole lasts me about 6 months playing 3 to 4 times a week. Not the most durable but definitely the most comfortable.

New balance are the best shoes with no break in time

I find the CT-Rally to be a very comfortable stable quality shoe, but seems a little more bouncy, like the less stable 696, than the 996 v2, which I think has just the right spring comfort and stability. I’m a longtime devotee of 996 iterations. Request more clay versions of 996. Glad to see CT-Rally is all-court.

I wear them for pickleball, and am very satisfied. The one slight problem is that my feet slide upward at the heel when I'm walking. I guess that's because my feet bend at the toes, and the shoe soles don't, aren't as flexible as my feet. Maybe that's common and the soles will become more flexible. I don't notice it when I'm playing.

I have many tennis/pickleball shoes (15+) as I'm constantly searching for shoes that help with my plantar fasciitis. I have the earlier version of these (v1) and like them, but I really love these and they've become my favorite pair. They provide very good support, comfort and stability, and are not as heavy as many others in this category. They also look very nice and I get compliments more than any other shoe. I do use insoles with these as I always do because of my PF. Also very pleased with Joe's New Balance Outlet pricing and service!

This is the best shoe for pickleball that I’ve ever owned

These are the best tennis shoes I've worn for many years. I was a stalwart wearer of the Federer-era Nike Vapor shoes. After he left for On, the updated version of the shoe were too narrow for me. I've tried other wider shoes, including the NB 996, but the X CT Rally v2's fit perfectly and provide the right balance of comfort and court feel. I haven't had them long, so can't really comment on build quality or durability, but I am loving them.

The delivery was fast and hassle free. I haven’t started to where them yet. The last pair were a good shoe but they didn’t last long. This pair is a warranty return pair, I hope they last longer.
