[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a 990 pro 2tb to replace my failed sabrent on 02/2024. Have been running flawlessly and without any issues. Noticable speed increase. Temps stay relatively cool even without the heatsink. Comparability works very well with my motherboard, easy instructions to install. Very fast read and write speeds. Will be purchasing another Samsung drive for storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD after running a 970 EVO Plus for years, and the difference is night and day. While the 970 EVO Plus was a rock-solid drive in its time, moving to PCIe 4.0 on the 990 PRO takes everything to another level. Sequential read and write speeds basically doubled—reaching up to ~7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write. You can feel that speed immediately: -Windows boots practically instantaneously. -Massive file transfers and game installs finish in seconds. -In-game loading screens and texture pop-in are virtually nonexistent. -Compatible my Alienware with zero issues, detected instantly in the BIOS and runs at full PCIe 4.0 speeds. -I've had it running for over a year now, and its endurance and reliability have been rock-solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] all right for the compatibility man it went in minutes one screw popped it in there I was ready to run fast there's no latency problems with it works great thermals I've never had it overheat on the throughput and transferring files from the PS5 the SSD card and seconds and like I said great product lives up to all my expectations I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fast dependable ssd with plenty of storage I play fps games haven't even filled up two terabytes and I have a ton of games on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive enjoyed a consistent user experience while using the 999 pro 4TB nvme drive in my laptop. Simple tasks like email, and surfing were never an issue. But adding in complex code and gaming. Thats where the device shines with exceptional thermal control, latency and extreme throughput. As I continue to pit the device theough rigorous use scenarios the endurance and capabilities continue to shine.
