For the price I am disappointed in its power and suction. Having 2 long haired cats brings with them the need to hoover regularly. I am finding it does not clear as expected. Handy having a connected app to control some elements
The suction power of our new V16 on auto is a lot less than our old faulty V11, it takes a while for the higher suction to activate when cleaning mats and carpet. We have to use the Boost mode to properly clean our carpets. We did not have to do this on the V11. Hopefully this one will last longer than 2 1/4 years.
Superb engineering, great product design. Very happy with it.
I purchased this Dyson about a month ago.I find the new head very heavy why they did away with the fluffy head I do not know.So much so have purchased one.Suction is good and with the fluffy head it works well.I have disabled the auto brush feature on the app as I found it a bit hit and miss with the Dyson seemingly thinking I was doing carpet when in fact I was on hard floors.it is heavier than my previous Dyson. So far have used the wet head only once and found it made a reasonable job but ‘this really only uses the Dyson power and not the vacuum part. All in All I think I prefer my older model.
I’ve had this product for about a month, I’m finding it is heavier than my last one, also I’m not sure what the different lights etc are on the top. Also not sure if it vacuums as well
It doesn’t really work on auto mode on any of our carpets. It just turns itself off so we have to always use it in eco mode. Also, the stick is really hard to take on and off.
I am very happy with my new Dyson I love the compress able dust bin it was one of the reasons for buying this model. The other feature that made me purchase this vacuum was the anti tangle head which is so easy to clean. My only criticism is that because the head is thicker and doesn’t go under the furniture as easily. The vacuum itself is a little heavier than my previous vacuum doesn’t glide as well .Suction is great and the battery life is longer makes cleaning much easier.
I bought this about a month ago and works very well. This is the second stick i bought over time and like the ease of use and especially the light function. Would be good to have lights when using the accessories too!
I bought this to replace my V8 as it didn't hold enough and I was constantly emptying it, also the battery wasn't lasting long. I love this model the light where you can see all the dirt i thought was a gimmick but it isn't its great. Battery good . the container could have been slightly bigger although with th compacting I can vacuum without emptying so it's probably ok. The battery can be clipped off and clipped on so I have bought another battery as i think this is fantastic. I have a house with dog and two air b n b properties, so if i need to vacuum all i can with extra battery. The suction is really goos as well and seems better on my rugs than the older V8. Not too heavy Great machine
This vacuum sucks so well that I have to empty it AND clean the machine and filter everytime I vacuum, which is painful, but at least I know it's sucking well. Hopefully the carpets and dust in my new home will be contractor dust free before I wear the machine out :-)
