Used this mascara several times and each time it would make my lashes look meh. The bristles were bad at distributing the product, and as a result it would make my lashes clump together. The product itself was too heavy and weighed down my lashes, and once it was dried down it would flake off. Not a mascara I’d recommend or repurchase. Ended up throwing it away, sadly.

Formula didn’t bother my sensitive eyes but definitely flakes. I won’t be buying again.
I don't know if I blink too much or what, but this is the first mascara I've tried that does not smear or speckle during 10 hours of wear. I thought I was doomed to make frequent checks or look like a hot mess. I will definitely be purchasing the larger size.
I wanted to love this mascara especially because I believe it's a healthier alternative. unfortunately I bought two of them and it was nearly $60 and it just clumps and drops flakes all over my face. I used it for like 2 weeks and ended up just throwing it away and going back to what I was using before. it was the brown I don't know if that makes a difference but this was some of the worst mascara I have ever purchased. I had to pile it on and pile it on to even get it to be noticeable too so there's that I would not buy this again. I tried to return it but apparently I waited too long.
I must’ve gotten an old bottle — this mascara did NOT live up to the hype at all! It’s chunky and flakey, and doesn’t come off easily with warm water + oil cleanser. Maybe I’m spoiled because the Kevyn Aucoin tubing mascara is my baseline expectation (and it’s the best ever to do it by a country mile), but this mascara was not it at all.
Flaky mess! Even after several days and several face cleanses, I still had flakes underneath and in my eyes. I love the original Merit mascara but this was a miss for me. Had to return.
Almost immediately started flaking under my eyes. Was not impressed with the volume or length promised...
Returned this product. Very little volume, hard to see I was even wearing mascara. And the removal process was not as easy as Thrive.
For reference, I only use tubing mascaras with brushes that emphasize separation of the lashes. I have naturally quite long but thin lashes. I liked how this applied, though it does look more obviously like mascara (a little clumpier) than the Glossier one. It also flakes slightly, even with only one light coat applied, which is not something I've experienced with other tubing mascaras. I think different tubing mascaras work for different lash types, so it's still worth giving it a try.
A tiny and thin brush, does not add volume at all. barely-there
