Londontown 2-Pc. Gel-Like Set

This set works pretty well. The shine on my manicure lasted the entire 7 days I had the polish on. The coverage was great. After using some quick drying drops, the drying time was pretty fast. The adhesion was great. I didn't experience any polish chips until the 7th day and that only occurred on two nails. I was able to remove the polish fairly quickly using a non acetone remover. My only issue with this set is it made my thin nails extremely hard. Even after applying a cuticle oil daily underneath my nail’s free edge and around the cuticle, my nail still snapped. I reached over to grab something and the nail folded down by mistake. I had to be extremely careful for the remaining time I was wearing this gel-like set polish. I wish it provided a slightly thicker coating to my nails.

A friend recommended this product to me. I switched from my usual CND Vinylux system and gave it it a try. I followed the instructions using the gel-like base coat. I then put 2 coats of the Lakur color and finished with the gel-like top coat. Within 2 days I had slight chipping at the tips of a few nails. By 5 days there was a lot more chipping on most of my nails. I will be using my CND products going forward. I do not recommend the Lakur gel-like system.
