I purchased these Vionic sneakers specifically for a two-week trip to Italy. They are very comfortable and surprisingly versatile, they went with a lot of my outfits, which is exactly why I chose them for travel. Unfortunately, the durability was very disappointing. I wore them intermittently for no more than about five days total, and they already showed significant wear. I expected some dirt and scuffing from sightseeing, especially with a light-colored shoe, but I did not expect the suede to fray and actually tear after such limited use. For the price, I expected them to hold up much better. If you love the style, I would suggest choosing a darker color or reserving them for lighter, mostly indoor wear. I personally would not recommend this color for a sightseeing or walking-heavy trip. They’re comfortable and cute, just not nearly as travel-friendly as I expected.
So comfortable. Great for travel where you’ll be doing lots of walking.
I normally end up returning almost all shoes I buy online, but I’m very thankful that’s not the case with Vionics. They fit me very well, and feel so natural on my foot. I wear size 10, so it’s also hard to find sneakers that don’t make my feet look like skis. They feel good & they look good. I got the Nubuck finish, so I do have to be more careful not to get them dirty. These aren’t “playing in the mud” sneakers.

The best fitting shoes I have worn were Hoka Bondi 8. I needed a black leather shoe for our recent vacation in Europe. They worked! I never once said, "I have got to get these shoes off!" Even after a 21000 step day! They are lightweight and very soft leather. There was a seam on the outer toe that rubbed a little but I did not have a blister. When I first tried these shoes on I was disappointed. They were so flat - they would probably be great for someone who is often barefoot but now has to wear shoes. I added a silicone gel heel cup under the orthoheel insole. It provided just the right amount of heeldrop that I needed. As other reviewers mentioned, the back of the shoe is very soft and difficult to get on. I was able to make it work with a shoehorn.
Disappointed with this style. I have purchased Vionic sneakers in the past and they are my favorites. Unfortunately, that model has been discontinued. Soft back and side leather of this model make getting them on a little difficult. You really have to open the laces pretty far. The comfort is nothing special. Sadly, not worth the price. I would not recommend this product.
Plantar fasciitis has bother my foot for years, but these are perfectly supportive and make me have no pain at all! Really comfortable and cute shoes!
