[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest it took me a minute to figure out how to use the stain as it’s not the same as my others that you peel off and the directions aren’t very clear. The consistency is watery and can be difficult to place consistently on the lip. However, it is very lightweight and comfortable to wear before you wipe the excess off. It dries pretty quickly preventing any accidental touches/blemishes and the stain wears for several hours. I think I would pick a different color next time, but I do like that it provides a full lip stain that lasts for several hours.

The first layer gave my lips a soft, natural rosy tint, while adding more layers deepened the color without ever looking heavy or patchy. It felt incredibly lightweight and comfortable, with a fresh, juicy finish rather than a thick or sticky feel. I loved how the shade added a flattering wash of color that still let my natural lip tone peek through. I also appreciated that I could control how bold I wanted the look—perfect for both everyday wear and a more noticeable tint. For the most even finish, I recommend applying thin layers and letting each one set briefly before adding the next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Clarins lip water stain was something new for me. When I first saw the color I thought it was going to be way too bold for me, but it wasn’t! The first layer left a light tint, and build it up three layers. It’s very watery but when it dries it’s dry. It has no glossy feel, and I do prefer to have my lips never feel dry so I added just some clear chapstick over. When I did that, the tint did not wear off or clump. I was thoroughly impressed.

This did not bring me that! I loved how light weight it was! Instead of being overwhelming in color payout, I really enjoyed how lightweight this was both in wearability and color. It simply enhances your natural lip color to be a tad more juicy! The scent is nice too. This dried down great and didn’t leave me feeling like I needed to be conscious of transferring, either. The best part? I felt like it was moisturizing! Overall, I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be purchasing again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good lip stain, definitely started off with more color like a lipstick, did fade after awhile but still pretty. It seems to be buildable and can darken the color by applying more. Not sticky, overall goes on nicely. Would purchase in the future.

The soft pink makes my lips just a little bit brighter than their natural shade applying multiple coats does tend to make it a little darker. The formula is super soft and feels nourishing without being sticky! Because this is a “water” lip stain I can only really describe the formula as “wet”. So you don’t have as much control when applying it to your lips, I think part of that is just because of the applicator, it allows it to run. I don’t like how the precision isn’t as nice but I’m overall happy with the product.
