Better value for amount versus the brand name, you get more and pay less per package. For the rice I'll usually use half the package and combine with two packets of miso soup mix. Makes for a great low calorie and high fiber lunch main. I have also eaten with a protein like shrimp, isn't bad, but does feel more noticeable that you're eating a rice substitute since konjac doesn't cling to creamy sauces very well.

Definitely not a food to eat on its own, but this works great as a base for curries or other rice based sauces. Awesome low carb substitute.

These are just simple and easy…. and have a nice texture… and on sale they were a decent price. I will be buying again.

Quality‑wise, I think it’s pretty much on par with other brands. I like alternating between this rice and konjac noodles. The price is good, especially during promotions. It’s easy to prepare and tastes just like other rice substitutes.

I really love konjac products for their taste, pure fiber, and zero calories.

good substitute to pasta when you re on a diet. very easy to cook. doesn't taste much on its own .

This "rice" product must be approached without the expectation of it tasting like rice because it doesn't. However it is a nice addition to bulk up a meal and add fiber. It takes on the flavor of whatever seasonings you add but the texture is one you have to get used to. It's a little "spongy". I actually prefer the longer noodles over the rice version. The quality of the Vitacost brand is just as good as any other brand I've tried.

I add this to soups to create more bulk and feel more full. It doesn't taste like anything really and the texture and lack of taste is camouflaged by the soup itself.

this is nice. I add just a small cup of rice and I couldn't even distinguish. The taste is good though chewy but the quality of product is top notch. I would have preferred more content for the price. product properly packaged to prevent spillage.
