This is a high quality product made from organic barley grass as the only ingredient. My first time take barley grass powder, good packaging. I just mix it with room temperature water, the taste is a bit strange but it's fine, coz its good for health so let see if there's improvement after weeks taking barley.
Good quality product. It smells a little odd but not in a bad way. Supposedly a superfood, which we need now that our food quality is usually not super. I take this one in a smoothie, in combination with other ingredients as a heavy metal detox. Ran out now, but will repeat the detox after a while since our environment is not exactly clean and there's no avoiding ingesting or inhaling or whatever-ing heavy metals, plastics and other things that shouldn't be in your body. I can only recommend this Barley Grass Powder - why? In more than 100 years of scientific research, no significant nutritional difference has ever been found between one cereal grass and another when harvested at the jointing stage. The key difference between our cereal grasses and those from other growers is that we harvest at the jointing stage, which has been shown in every scientific study to be the point of maximum nutrition. As far as Pines know, Pines are the only grower to harvest at the corrects stage of growth for maximum nutrient density. There may be differences in flavor in waiting a week or more after jointing to harvest, but the real reason other growers wait is the yield per acre is two or three times greater by waiting. Certainly, by waiting, the nutritional level drops to a fraction of what if should be but the profits are much greater when a grower can increase the yield per acre.
