Soy Cleansing Jelly Balm

I loved this stuff when I first tried it. It’s pricey but smells amazing and is a cute green jelly. It takes off makeup really well. BUT I do feel as if this requires a secondary cleanser as it does leave something behind. The first couple weeks using it I thought nothing of the soft feeling it leaves behind. But then I started breaking out in new juicy zits that I’ve never had in my life. When I use this I have to use a more harsh cleanser afterwards to cut through that or I break out. My routine was ONLY a similar balm with my prior brand I was using so I am switching back as I had no issues… sad as I love how this feels and the smell and the amount you get but it just didn’t work for me.

I wear a lot of eye makeup, and this took it all off in the shower. PLUS! No blurry vision like other cleansing oils. I have dry and sensitive skin. highly recommend

This jelly balm solves the problem I have with oil cleansers. The main issue is that they’re messy! The oil is runny and tricky to control. By turning it into a gel, fresh has created an oil cleanser that’s easy to control. At first it feels like a gel cleanser, but I can tell that it melts into an oil because it emulsifies and turns milky with water, and then the water beads up on my skin. It removes makeup effectively, and I follow it up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse.

This cleansing balm is amazing, I really love the way the texture changes between jelly/balm to a nice lather. It makes my skin feel as if it is genuinely getting clean. It doesn’t dry out my skin, it makes the skin feel moisturized while still getting the job done!
