I Need a Cool Eyeshadow Palette

I’m so excited to have received this Natasha Denona ‘I Need A Cool’ eyeshadow palette for free via the BzzAgent sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Natasha’s eyeshadows are hands down my favorite!! I own several other of her palettes. For years I struggled with eyeshadows…no matter which brand I tried, I had some sort of reaction to the powders that made my eyes watery and run nonstop. I gave up on eyeshadow for a while. I stumbled across one of Natasha’s mini palettes a little over a year ago and decided to try eyeshadow again bc I was in love with the colors in that mini palette. Not only did I love the colors, pigments, ease of blending, lasting all day….NO watery eyes!! I thought maybe it was a fluke…so I tried a couple other brands eyeshadow over the next few days…watery eyes again. Natasha Denona is the ONLY eyeshadow I can wear without watery eyes. Now on to the ‘I Need a Cool’ palette….I LOVE it. It’s a great palette to have on hand for every day looks. The color story is pretty neutral…and you can create several different looks with it. I usually start with a base/primer of Natasha Denona’s concealer. The shadows are so smooth and buttery! Very easy to apply and blend! The shimmers are gorgeous…I’ve had no issues with any fallout. I personally find that applying the shimmer shades is best done with a fingertip. If I HAD to find something negative about this palette… I would say that this palette isn’t as highly pigmented as some of the other Natasha Denona palettes I have. The price is a little high….BUT…it’s absolutely worth its weight in gold. Especially if you struggle with any type of allergies to makeup.

I do like it and will keep it but I find that regardless what shadows I use the eye looks end up all looking very similar and kind of sheer, even the darker shades. Probably extra $$$ for it’s heavy case too.

The Natasha Denona I need a cool eyeshadow palette is absolutely stunning. It comes with the most beautiful cool tone shades. They blend beautifully and don’t transfer. The palette is the perfect size for travel. Great for day use and night wear as well.

I love the color story but for me I find most of her pallet underwhelming. I struggled blending the colors and matte pigment is just spotty . But the metallic shimmers are so pretty!

This is my first time using Natasha Denona eye shadows and I am blown away at the ease of use and payoff. The colors are pigmented and so easy to blend. I also have oily eyelids and I have to use a primer with any eye shadow product, but a lot of them still get in the creases, this one stayed where it was put. Great quality, highly recommended.

I really love the color story of this palette - the shades are incredibly versatile and you can create everything from a soft everyday look to a beautiful evening makeup or a smoky eye. The shimmery and metallic shades are definitely the highlight for me. The quality, pigmentation, and finish of the pearly shades and sparkles are beautiful, and they apply really nicely. Unfortunately, I’m not as impressed with the matte shades. Cove, Cloud, and Tatra in particular feel quite chalky, have weak pigmentation when applied with a brush, and can look patchy on the skin. I expected better performance from the mattes, especially considering the price point. Overall, I still really enjoy this palette because of the beautiful and versatile color selection and the stunning shimmers. I just wish the matte formula was as good as the rest of the palette

I do love this brands formulas, but once again shes failed to make actual cool toned shades. These are beautiful; but neutral at best. I tried it in the store. Didn't buy it. I am light very cool toned olive (think grey green). Several of the shades went pretty warm. Not true cool tone friendly.

I’m very fair leaning slightly olive and neutral. I’m always on the hunt for eyeshadow that doesn’t pull too warm or orange. I really liked this palette for that, and the color story is very nice! It has enough neutrals that I can use it for work and daytime, but throw on some of the punchier shades for evening. I especially gravitated towards the foil shades which are shimmery but have good payoff. As with many ND palettes, the pigmentation is high but the formula is still blendable. If you have a warmer or deeper undertone these could read a little chalkier but if you’re cool, olive or neutral, this palette has a place in your makeup cabinet.

I have been looking for a beautiful cool toned palette, and this one did not disappoint! The taupes, mauves and pinks are gorgeous, blend easily and work so well together. The shimmer shades are especially pretty!
