BISOU JELLY Sheer Shine Hydrating Lipstick

I wanted to like these but I felt that they were just…ok. Too sheer. It was overpriced for what it was and didn’t do anything. so expensive

Swift return...my lips were dry despite the ingredients of castor oil, petroleum derivatives, etc. also a tad miffed you can get this 40% off on tt.

I had to return this , it’s packing is beautiful. The hydration doesn’t last very long , I had to keep reapplying it. For the price it’s not worth it…

I love these Bisou Jellies and this color is probably my favorite. Would love them more if they had sunscreen and lasted longer on the lip.

The coke and texture are both lovely! Removed a star because they are advertised to be hydrating, but I actually found it pretty drying. It goes on smooth, but then about half an hour later my lips feel crusty and chapped.

I love their other products, but this one is a flop IMO. No longevity, not very moisturizing—it’s a pass. Try other products in their line.

I like Violette and her brand, but her lip products confuse me. None are remotely moisturizing. But the colors are so gorgeous. I bought this shade because I saw its swatches and fell in love. It goes on rough and pulls the lips, the color deposit is inconsistent, and the "jelly" around it is not moisturizing. I think I am done with her lip products for good.

I think this product is great!! A lot of the comments below state that this product wasn’t pigmented enough, but the caption of the product clearly states “SHEER” which is exactly that. I personally don’t love super pigmented lip products and I feel like this gives the perfect amount of color! It wears comfortably and I don’t think it’s drying at all. If your lips are chapped I wouldn’t recommend putting this on without exfoliating or moisturizing with lip balm. It’s great if you use it correctly and read what the product actually is 😘

After buying, and not loving, Violette’s Balm Amour, I decided to take a chance on the Bisou Jelly, and I absolutely adore it! Most lipsticks and stains tend to bleed on me, but this one doesn’t. It’s the perfect balance of shine and subtle pigment: enough colour to make my lips look gorgeous and naturally enhanced, without ever feeling sticky or looking overdone. It feels hydrating, wears beautifully and looks effortless.

What’s my secret to looking chic? This product! It is nicely hydrating and the way the color is deposited on your lips is diffused and soft. I can’t wait to try other shades.
