Just received Lawless lip plumper in Whisper. It has a bad smell like years old lipstick that had been sitting in grannies makeup pouch. You can even smell it when it is on your lips
color is off.. more of a peach and it tastes aweful! like very old lipstick.. taste like crayons and it has a large Crack down the side. Will be returning

I ordered 4 of these excited to try them. When I received them they smelled really bad like old oils. All 4 products were stale and old. Checked manufacturer date and it was from 2023. Discarded all of them!
Loved the color, but the taste was so bad I had to throw it away. I hate wasting money like this.
This really isn’t anything special. Not sure if I just got a bad batch or what, but mine has a very distinct smell—like that of a mom’s forgotten purse lipstick. The packaging it came in (box) also looked rough. There are better options out there. I also didn’t get any plumping effect from this.
The balm smells and tastes rotten. In the garbage this went.
I have ordered this in the color Cupid, and Sweetie. They’re both nice and have a nice minty smell. I ordered this one on sale and it was horrible and rancid smelling. I returned. I’m assuming that’s why it was on sale. I was going to order again but the reviews are still saying about the smell. Sephora rotate your products! Get rid of the old stuff and not to your customers! Normally would rate this 4 stars as it’s not hydrating enough for me to consider it a balm but I like the colors and ease of application. It’s a moisturizing lipstick to me. I would order again but not for a while to see if Sephora replaces old stock.
This lip balm has horrible smell. I am surprised more people are not mentioning this. I do like the smooth formula of the balm.
I like it. It has decent color pay off and looks like the colour shown. A very pretty pink. I didn't get any off smell. Though I have another one (cherry vanilla) that did have a kind of 'play doh' scent, not at all rancid or bad. It is hydrating and feels great on my lips. I don't know that I particularly notice any plumping or line-smoothing, but I like that it keeps my lips hydrated and gives nice colour. It lasts decently well for a hydrating balm. It is one of my daily go-to's.
