Not sure what to say about this shoe at this point bc it's too big, both in length and width. I'm a 9/12 but this shoe was too big. I may try the next size down, which would be a 9 as the 9 1/2 was too big. It seems to be a quality shoe but the insert is just mush so for plantar fasciitis sufferers, we may need a better insert. Not sure if I'll order the 9 but for now this 9 1/2 size goes back.
I have pronate problems and wear supports. These fit in the shoes and the shoes themselves give enough support. I may try the higher/taller version as well, those may really do the trick.
Not sure about the advertised waterproofness since the straps that cinch the laces are threaded through holes that seem to me to provide a direct conduit to the interior of the shoes.
I purchased these hiking boots for a trip to Moab Utah. They were wonderful. They gripped the rocks well. The shoe has a wide toe box which makes it comfortable to wear if you have a wide foot. They are heavier than sneakers to wear but was not difficult to get use to.
Comfortable: I am enjoying wearing these shoes. So far they are very comfortable and will purchase a pair for my Mother.
Great comfort: I wore these shoes for the first time when I walked on a nature trail for a couple of miles. I found them to be very comfortable, and I was able to wear them all day.
Way too big. I should have returned them. They are also DOPPY looking. Just weird. Keen used to have such wonderful shoes...I will never buy from again.
