I love these jeans! They fit perfectly over my boots and over my hips - they stop just above my hips and stay in place while riding. They are a little looser in the thigh than I would normally go for but it looked like they would be in the picture so I wasn't too surprised.
Sits lower on hips- does run small- will more than likely need to size up.
Short is NOT short: I'm 5'2" and ordered a Short. Apparently Ariat and I have very different definitions of "short." Nothing like buying jeans specifically for short women and still needing a tailor.
