Bean Boot 6.5 Chelsea

Well made: Great boots for when you want to just pull them on and get outside.

These boots run large in size. So large I thought I miss ordered the size. Not once but twice. Ok, I'll be able to wear thick winter socks. The material used to make the boot also seems cheaply fake. Yeah, I'm disappointed.

Wore my New boots for 10 min. to walk my dog. The brown rubber got scuffed lightly and showed up white. I tried wiping it with a soft rag and cold water, thinking it would go back to brown. It did not. I returned them to the store.

Sizing is terrible and not made for med/thin ankles or feet

Beware.this Chelsea style Bean Boot does not fit like the original boots. I exchanged 3 times trying to find a size that fit. Also, if you have med/skinny ankles these boots will swallow you. They're made for a larger foot and leg. Style and quality still good, sizing not.

I've owned a lot of boots over the years, and most that claim to be waterproof last about three months if I'm lucky. Bean Boots are different they just keep working. My old pair lasted almost a decade before they finally started leaking where the rubber meets the leather. I wear these boots five or six days a week for work, and they stay comfortable and keep my feet dry.I've tried plenty of other boots, but none of them stand up to my job like Bean Boots do.

My third pair . . . . . . because I love the first two pairs. They are so easy to step into. AND they keep my feet warm with the use of the LL Bean wool socks, of course. They are soooo comfortable. AND best of all, I am wearing boots that are one size smaller than the shoe size I generally wear. A definite win . . . win . . . win.

Runs big. I am typically a 7.5-8. I ordered a 7.5 and there is lots of extra room, I could've gotten away with a 7. Will work ok with thicker socks.
