Cresta Stretch Rain Jacket

I 've had the same navy rain slicker for decades and when visiting LlBean, saw this jacket, tried it on, and especially liked the soft blue. So bought it, and recently wore it grocery shopping in the pouring rain, and stayed dry throughout. I don't usually like hoods, but dragging out an umbrella can be difficult when holding other things. The hood was loose enough to keep my face and hair dry. Plus, it's long enough to keep your fanny dry, and has nice zippered pockets. Very happy with it!

I lost my old jacket so I had to purchase a new one quickly. Apparently the one I owned before is no longer available and this is the "replacement". I like the Velcro on the sleeves rather than the snaps on my old jacket but that's about all I like about this one. It is so thin it seems flimsy and cheap compared with my old one. Also, this one has only two pockets. Why do manufacturers think women don't need as many pockets as men? While I don't like this one anywhere near as much as my old one, since it's a Bean jacket, I'm sure it will last a long time and I will have some enjoyment from it.

I bought this to take on a cruise around the UK. It was exactly what I needed for the weather so far north this time of year. I'm looking forward to it being very useful the rest of the year now that we're home.

Bought this for my wife as her favorite rain, wind jacket for decades from another well known brand was finally wearing out. I was concerned it would be a process to get her to give up the old, BUT as she tried it on her eyes lit up and after taking off and putting back on several time over the next or so, SHE HAD A NEW FAVORITE.

Originally ordered one size up based on my usual size. Would prefer green but it was sold out in my size. Haven't worn it in heavy rain yet so?

Comfortable and not stuffy for summer rain: I had the chance to wear this jacket to a rainy summer baseball game. It kept me dry and I wasn't hot with it on. Later as the rain stopped and it got cooler , it was the just right jacket for a cool night. I bought it for traveling and can't wait to wear it then. I did buy it a size larger so I could layer.
