It's a handsome, sturdy shoe, but I purchased it in size 9 1/2 D and found that this size was too narrow. So I exchanged it for a size 9 1/2E. The shoes arrived a few days ago, and I found that they are slightly too big. I guess I'm stuck, right? Dan Kevles

I normally take a 10.5 medium width shoe..This same shoe fit so loosely that I returned it after a mere walk to my car in the LL Bean parking lot.

Great shoe: This is my second pair. The first pair has been excellent in fit, comfort, and durability so I purchased another pair while they were still available.
