This shoe was soft/cushioned and also supportive with a firm, shaped footbed and appropriately sized lacing that held my narrow foot in place. I would have preferred a darker color and I'm not a fan of the huge/wide outsole that is so popular right now, but after comparing these with two other similar/recommended shoes from other brands (SAS, New Balance) they seemed the most "tailored" to my foot size and shape. I'm hoping they will maintain their firm, structured support and not collapse after a few months like some other soft walking shoes I've owned. Also, they were the least expensive of the three pair I compared :-)...

Excellent arch support for flat feet but they are too firm so I'm getting the Brooks Ariel (Beast) GTS instead.

I have ordered the size 8 in other Brooks shoes and had them fit well. This style , Addiction GTS 15, did not. I found the toe box tight and my big toes rubbed on the top and side. I don't know if the shoe or the style's fault. I will be returning these.
