My Husband's Favorite Slippers: This is my husband's 3rd pair of the same slippers. He wears them for years, then orders new ones when they finally wear out! He enjoys everything about them- the warm, comfort and style!
I finally picked a winner when I purchased these slippers for my husband. As older people, what we wear on our feet is important. He has neuropathy, and the smile on his face the first time he put on these slippers was priceless. Although he wears the sherpa down after about a year and starts hinting for a new pair under the Christmas tree, the rest of the shoe never wears out. I only have two requests of LL Bean: can you make this moc in wide widths in more than one color? And could you redesign the laces so they will stay tied? Other than that, they are perfect.
Nowhere near as good as my old slippers from Shepherds Flick, which luckily I still have. These squeeze my foot oddly, have rough labels sewed solidly inside, and the unnecessary laces are not tie-able (and I know knots, and have tried the difficult knot recommended by LL Bean, which still comes out).
After many, many years of comfortable wear I needed to replace them. At 85, they will probably outlive me!

I am a woman size 9 wide and always have a hard time finding the perfect fit in slippers. Unfortunately, L.L. Bean does not make wide width in women's moccasins so for these I went with a size 7 in men's. They are the perfect fit.
Bought these for my son's birthday to replace the ones he's been wearing for at least ten years!! He's so happy he sent me a pic wearing his new slippers next the the old ones. LL Bean: same color, same style. It's wonderful to know there are products that last and when they finally need replacement - it's still available.
