These boots have gone down in quality of workmanship and quality of materials over the years. My first pair I wore out the sole. My second pair lasted 10 years and they balked when I asked them to repair, they did, but put an awful odor in my boots. Now, my third pair didn't last me a year before the rubber ripped and leaks. they are also falling apart at the stiches.....have already bought another manufacturer.

This product is indestructible and fashionable. However, I could not find a good fit. I measure a size 9.5 and tried sizes between 8 and 9 and couldn't find a comfortable fit. My foot shape just doesn't line up with the shape of the boot. This is me however, and if your foot is more like the last for this boot I would recommend.

I bought a pair of these waterproof boots to walk our German shepherd dog twice a day. No issues walking in pouring rain and walking through wet grass. My wife has an old pair that the heels were replaced by our local shoe shop guy that has and they look great.

I bought a pair of Bean boots more than 50 years ago when I was in college and they are still going strong. They've been resoled multiple times. The most recent iteration had some of the lower leather and pull tabs replaced as well. I had some doubts when I sent them in but am very happy with the results. It's too bad I can't send some of my other nonBean boots and shoes to your cobblers. A lot of mink oil & saddle soap over the years darkened up the original light brown leather. After 50 years they have a lot of memories. Thanks!
