If anyone is giving any bad review its because they are to big for the size that was ordered, period. Fits JUST like panty hose and goes on just the same BUT the look of extra thick dancer hose. No matter the color it can definitely be worn alone or layered. I have nothing to pair the almond color or I would own it as well. If anyone is curious "no, you can't see through it". Just like the pic.
