Best socks I've worn: The first pair of Darn tough I ever owned were a pair that were given as a gift. They've held up for several years, so I decided to give these models a try. While thinner than my original pair, they feel snug when put on, but really smooth. I've paired them with Merrell MOAB 3s as well as Dr Marten's 1460s. Extremely comfortable and breathable in either footwear.

The color is a welcome break from charcoal, the comfort is great (exactly like the other micro crew socks I own) and I'm sure the durability will be similar.
