The Workhorse: If socks were horses, this is the Clydesdale. It just GOES. I've used it for everyday use, extended hiking and extended outdoor work. Depending on the climate in your area, it's very versatile for temperature range and pairs perfectly in winter as an 'everything' sock, short of those extreme periods when expedition weight is called for. This is a GREAT sock that I will continue to go back to for additional pairs. Highest recommendation.
From Yawn to Yes! Socks. Who really gets excited about socks? Well, after grabbing four pair of the Darn Tough Midweight Hikers, color me excited! If your feet aren't happy, then it can make for a long day on the trail, track, or floor. Their construction is top-tier. Nice socks..... Great quality American made super comfortable socks, I have a lot of pairs of Darn Tough Socks and I love them all. The merino wool is extremely comfortable and durable.

Plenty of cushion: These socks have been great for hiking and long days on my feet while traveling. The cushioning feels good in my boots without making them too tight. They stay up well, so I'm not constantly stopping to adjust them.
Family Favorite: This is officially our "family favorite " sock. Durable, dependable and fits wider "athletic" ankles because of the comfortable ribbing. Just the right height for wearing in work boots and warm enough for colder weather.

Go to summer boot socks: Fit, Comfort and durability. I ordered both the regular Hiker and the Coolmax Hiker socks. Between the two I'd choose the regular on my next purchase do to the fact that they are more comfortable, have a better stretch and just feel better in my boots.
New Favorite Socks: I bought a few different Darn tough socks to see what I like best for hiking, along with some previous Darn Tough socks. I started sampling these socks for work and now I am going to have to get more because I love these. Great cushion!
