GZH Zigzag

I am a fan of Haflinger. However I'm disappointed in their inability to properly size their excellent products. I ordered a pair of the "clogs" to which Haflinger has wisely added some height to the heel preventing the shoe from falling off. I ordered a size 12 (I usually wear 11.5 but these don't come in that half size) The size 12 was far too large. I could have placed a full deck of cards behind my heel. In effort to find my size, I ordered both an 11 and a 10. Well the eleven was still too big, and the 10 was too short. I had to return both. This Zigzag with the heel up to the task, could well become a favorite for you....if you happen to be a full size. HAFlinger doesn't do enough HAF sizes.

I bought these in my normal size, a 7.5, but had to exchange for the size 7 because the 7.5 was way too big even with thicker socks. The 7 is still a little loose and a touch wider than I need but the enclosed heel keeps them from coming off and the extra room can be managed with thicker socks. The toe box is nice and roomy and the arch support is good as well. They are comfortable and what I was looking for so I kept the size 7.

I wanted something warm and comfortable with a bit of support to wear in the house. I like the closed heel style more than the open heel "scuff". I sized up in these clogs because I have wide feet and high arches but it proved unnecessary because my usual size fit well. I kept the size 37 and returned the size 38. As a bonus, these are also nice looking.

I have always been a Haflinger fan. Have worn them for years, but these did not work for me. This is the first time I had gotten a shoe with a back. I ordered the larger of my two usual sizes (for with or without socks) but they did not fit. Way too small. I could barely even get my feet in them. Also felt narrow. Not sure what happened. Disappointed because I was really looking forward to these. Is there really a gender (men's/women's) to Halfinger shoes? I thought they were all the same. Maybe that's the issue.

I've been having plantar fasciitis issues and my old Haflinger clogs are the only shoes I can wear that alleviate my pain. I ordered these because I wanted a pair with a back - the clogs are a little loose and I worry that they will slip off. These shoes don't seem like they're quite the same quality as my old ones, but the footbed has the same firmness and support and they alleviate my pain. I had to return the ones I ordered first because they were too big, but I sized down and they fit well.

These are such nice clogs, but the instep was a too high for my feet.

Very nice slipper --disappointed they did not fit better. Clearly these had been previously worn--not good

I wear a size 40 in Haflinger and this pair and style was true to size. Fit perfectly and comfortable out of the box. I live in Haflinger.

These worked very well for my daughter who cannot keep regular Haflinger clogs on her feet because she had to have a big toe amputated. She does have a high instep, and found that area uncomfortably tight (especially since she has pain in the top of her feet from nerve damage anyway), but fortunately the shoes did adjust to her feet over time and are very comfortable now.

Fits a little roomier than expected but may be the result of the EU - US size conversion provided. Excellent quality and arch support.
