Rockport was my favorite shoe brand for over 12 years - shoes and boots. Not any longer. Their quality went downhill after Covid and keeps deteriorating. This particular model lasted for a season - the sole became worn off and had several holes in about 4 months of walking. The sole is made of soft rubber and has air pockets inside.
Felt a bit tight over the top, but after adjusting the laces was perfect
Rockport seems to have changed their sizing. I previously bought a 10.5 Rockport men's shoe that did not fit. Felt more like a size 10 or 9.5. So I tried this Northfield shoe in size 11. It felt better on my 10.5 size feet, but still was too narrow.
A true 4E with a wide toe box. Excellent comfort and good grip on the sole.
I like shoes really soft and comfortable. I bought This for NYPD Police Academy. I am still wearing. I can recommend that.
Good and waterproof.
I don’t like the way they look. They look cheap to me. Also they don’t stay tied very well. But they are roomy in the toe, so pretty comfortable. The heel is wide, too bad for me since my heels are a little narrow lol.

These shoes were not the same quality as the ones purchased in 2022. Poor quality sole, leather not the same either. Husband did not like these at all.
Have worn Rockport shoes for many years now and I have an older model of this shoe and it needs to be replaced, so I purchased another Rockport Northfield waterproof shoe and it is terrible! Tried to wear it for a few hours, but it is so uncomfortable, I had to remove it from my feet. So, am returning it for a full refund.
