Not roomy enough to wear socks. Also the top has a ridge that rubs uncomfortably. I was disappointed because I like the style and for years depended on Clark's shoes.

for me with sox was a little too tight. with a thinner sock, it might be ok. A wide width would be too large, I think. The problem with the shoe was the lefty zipper did not work.
