I ordered 3 pairs until I found the right size. I am usually a solid 8. I ordered the 8 which is labeled 39 European. I have other European brands shoes in 38 ad they fit fine. The 8 (39) was almost a full size larger. My heels were slipping out as I walked and there was plenty of room in the toe area. Returned the 8 and ordered a 7.5 and a 7. The 7 was an exact fit with no wiggle room. The 7.5 was the best overall fit. I wore them around the house before venturing out. The arch support is moderate at best but they are comfy. The second day after officially wearing them outside of the house, I walked in them 2 miles straight and they were comfortable. I forgot that I had them on until later. The golden stripes add a touch of "glitz". I ordered a pack of assorted brown laces ( cheetah print, mini checkers, and plain brown) and have been switching them to match my outfit. I recommend this pair.

Fit true to size. Very stylish look
I have tried a lot of similar style trainers and these were by far the most comfortable and unique/stylish. I wore them around the house for a while and wanted to love them but as a runner it was the shoe that made me realize I cannot do the flat bottom style. My foot needs more of a lift. I returned them for a similar shade of brown in the pacer. Size wise I am a 7.5 ordered a 7.5 and the fit was perfect. The tongue stayed put unlike other brands I own. It’s a 5 star shoe- just not for me and my feet.
