I really like the way these boots look and think they will be comfy with a little wear in period. That said, do not try to sneak up on anyone while wearing them. They are the noisiest shoes I have ever worn. They are noisy when you are just standing still in them. What's up with that?
These are really nice looking but very noisy!
I wanted to love this shoe but it is SUPER squeaky! It squeaks even if I move my toes in it while standing stationary. The Clarks store representative told me this is a common problem with the Orlene Top waterproof. So sad. I will be returning.
I really liked the style of these shoes. Unfortunately the band around the ankle was not comfortable.
I really like this boot. I've had no problems wearing it, and I really like the advantage of it being waterproof.
Love these boots but have to return -- I have had surgery on my ankle and the boots hit me at the wrong spot. Sorry! They are excellent quality for the price.
This breaks my heart. I really wanted these and wanted to keep them. Not possible. The left shoe is very squeaky and loud. Yes, just the left one. Both of them rub on my ankles in a way that will cause blisters. As always with Clarks, the sizing is perfect for me. Sadly, these just won't work.
Waaaayyy too narrow for a wide shoe.
For those of you who love the comfort of this boot but hate the squeaking, I found the solution. The noise is coming from the friction of leather next to the zipper. I used a small amount of leather conditioner on it and the squeak is gone!
The tongue is super stiff and digs into my leg. Also wide is not wide. I even sized up a whole size and it was not any better.
