These are great sandals. They have held up so much better than the regular Arizona. After 2 years, the sole is still good and barely worn, no cracking in the footbed, comfortable, and they can be worn on various terrain. I wouldn’t go back to the regular Arizona or sole, as had problems with the footbed cracking where the foot meets the toes, on a few pairs. Truly are rugged. They felt a little different from the regular Birks in the beginning, but you get used to the feel and they become more comfortable.

My only reason for returning these is the right shoe just did not fit as well as I would have expected. Otherwise, the shoes are well-made and supportive for the feet

fit and support is good. They are too stiff for me and feel heavy. The description and some reviews indicated that they were flexible. The shade is darker than pictured but a good basic shade.
