The shoe seemed to be of excellent quality. It just does not fit the wide foot. It was marketed as a 4E. It felt more like a D width. I wear a 4E so it did not fit well. I was hopping because the toe box looked good in the picture, but it did not work out.
I have an average size 8.5 M, and these fit perfectly. Very comfortable and the solid black works well for my office work outfits. They do not look like slip-on sneakers. I use PowerStep ProTech Control Orthotic Insoles, so I cannot speak to the arch support. With the insoles, support is great, and the insoles easily fit inside the shoe.
