Back to the same shoe: Always used Saucony Peregrine for the trails but I tried a couple different brands to see if they would be better. I am right back where I started. Love the fit and feel.

Always good: I have worn peregrines for years as my go-to trail shoe for everything from fire roads to technical trails in the Sierra and Rockies. Excellent support, great fit, durable, best traction out there. My only reservations is when the trail gets extremely technical .... when your legs look like sewing machine needles moving through rock. There, the awesome fit of the peregrine starts to feel a little sloppy.

Best Trail Shoes EVER! Probably THE BEST trail running shoes I've ever owned. Just the right amount of cushion for both road and trail. They transition from trails to road seamlessly effortlessly. Super comfortable and they just look great. Highly recommend these shoes

Loved the light and floating feel of the shoe, but it had too little arch support for my feet. Shoes were smaller than indicated size.

The only shoes I buy for hikingI have been buying the Peregrine shoes for hiking for about 5 years now. I go through at least 2 pairs a year plus I have the GTX Peregrine shoes for the inclement weather, and they keep my feet dry. I only buy Saucony Brand shoes for my hiking and my everyday sneakers.
