Works well with my feet: Glycerin 23 works well with my feet. Toes have a little wiggle room and the heel stays in place. I wear them long hours on a concrete warehouse floor and use them for walking and jogging.
This shoe was so good when it was Glycerin 14 that I bought two pairs. Guess I should've stockpiled them. I ordered the off-white 23 with blue shoelaces and they are beautiful to look at. I'd normally wear 7 1/2 narrow and these, though 8 med were closer to the narrow in length and width. The cushioning from the heel to mid foot was very comfortable. No idea why, but the front of the shoes felt like the cushion ended and, the sides even felt like my little toes was hanging over a shelf. Brooks has been a good brand for me but updates of Glycerin haven't worked out.
This is my second pair of Glycerin 23. I ran a half marathon in them, and they were great. I buy a 1/2 size up to have more toe room in my running shoes. I also buy wide because I have tall feet. I'll probably pick up another pair if I find them on sale. They don't last 500 miles of running, and my friend agrees with me on that. We would say 250-350 max for this shoe. The outsole will look great, but the cushion gets compressed long before 500 miles, so keep that in mind that it's not the longest-lasting shoe. But it is very comfortable, especially for long runs.
Very comfortable shoe: I put in a lot of steps in a day, working 10 hour shifts in a warehouse on concrete. These shoes were not only the perfect fit, I wore them for an entire shift straight out of the box and my feet felt just as good after 10 hours as they did when I put them on. I am already ordering another pair. I normally wear a 6.5 wide but have noticed my shoes feet tight lately so I went with a 7 wide and they are the perfect fit.

Wasn't as comfortable without arch support
I have bought this style for years, but Brooks has changed the heel drop in this year’s shoe. Im very disappointed. My favorite shoe is gone.
Nice roomy toe box and supportive heal but the arch support was lacking

Not sure if the shoe was a bit defective, but the left one seemed a little off balance with the cushioning. Very attractive shoe but they make such an annoying noise when I walk on the hospital floors. Like a clicking, plastic on tile. This paired with the lump in cushioning on the left shoe wasn't tolerable for the price.
