I always order 1/2 size up in boots for sock room. I wear a 9 1/2 M and ordered the 10 in Black. Great fit and some wiggle room for the toes. Leather is soft and no pinching at ankles very comfortable great quality and love the zipper. Non slip sole - they are great! Love them. Considering the brown. Born is my favorite brand for quality leather boots.
I really loved the look of these. They had plenty of room in the toe area but my heel kept moving around so I sent them back. It would be great if the laces were adjustable so you could make them smaller if need be. If it works for your heel, however, these would probably be super comfortable.
