Beautifully made! The cushioned midsole is very impressive and the lugs are not hard but rubbery feeling with give to them. The insole is above average with arch shaping and cushy. I ordered the Wide width in this leather and the mesh material -- the mesh style has a bit more width so I'm keeping those. They're true to size in length - meaning my usual 7.5 in athletic shoes was perfect in these.

Perfect for hiking in Zocrlsnd. Excellent boots for hiking glaciers and volcanos in Iceland.
Wide width has a wide toe box and heel, but squeezes much narrower in the middle. Did not work for my wide feet.
Comfortable: I bought these hiking boots a month ago to work outside as over house is under construction. They provide much stability and comfort and support. I am happy with this purchase.

Nice leatherI purchased a pair of boots and the right boot had issues. I exchanged and got a second pair. Right boot felt better, left boot was loose. I ended up keeping the second pair. The boot seemed to make my foot turn in a bit. Weird.I've been to the Orthopedic twice for foot issues with my right foot. Severe case of tendonitis in my right foot. Haven't been able to wear the boots and will not wear them again. I will go back to Timberlands.
