The wide toe box and stable neutral footbed with a little bit of cushion (not soft/mushy) made my feet/body so happy. I'm 70+ walking with a cane and these shoes feel great and give me a stable, comfortable gait. I would recommend TOPO for seniors
I wanted to love this gorgeous shoe but I had to return. The Phantom has been my favorite Topo shoe; however, this new edition was a bit more narrow than prior ones. My wide feet need more space in the toe area to accommodate a toe issue. If they had this color in the regular, as opposed to the waterproof, I would definitely buy it.
This is my third pair of the phantom series of Topo shoes. While this toe box is a little narrower than my previous pair, I still have plenty of toe room, and the narrower toe box makes them look nicer. I love this grey/blue color they too. I have been walking in them for over a week and have had no problems.
The wp phantom fits a little more snug than the non waterproof version. Still a great shoe but would definitely go half a size up to have more room.
I ordered 1/2 size larger and was still too short. Arch was not in the right spot … closer to back of foot rather than center.
These shoes are made for walkingeven with a big bunion.
Waterproof and comfortable. Lots of room in the toe box, but given that they're hiking shoes, I'd prefer grippier soles.
