These are fabulous! Bought for a trip to Alaska based on the fact they claimed to be waterproof. They are so waterproof!! First three days in Alaska it POURED rain and my feet stayed perfectly dry! Walking through mud and puddles my feet were comfortable at the end of a 12 hour rainy day.
This was actually a very nice show, but ironically, too cushiony for my very wobbly ankles. Those ankles tend to roll, resulting in falling while walking, spo the shoes needed to go back. Not a problem with the product.
These have been keeping my feet dry and comfy on my dewy morning trail runs! If you plan to wear thicker socks with them, I'd order a 1/2 size up.
The shoe is very supportive and I like the traction at the base. My body feels less fatigued, but I did have to put in extra art support. It was worth the purchase. I work in the operating room and I stand for hours. Get them, they are also great for running and hiking.
The fit of these is the same as the non GTX Hierros. I dont find them to fit small as some people have written.
Very cushy, but the sizing in the gore-tex model here is easier a size too small and too narrow. I normally wear a 10 in women's and have never needed wide (D) sizing; in these, I needed an 11D. Ordered a 10.5 as well, but it was too snug. Why are companies selling elite-priced shoes not built to standard sizing? Also, as much as I like mint green, gtx shoes are going to get muddy. What is the point of making these in pastel colors? $200 for shoes that are going to be dingy in 5 minutes.

So Comfortable! I need a gortex shoe with a vibram sole for hiking. I wore these all day yesterday. They are so comfortable. I went 1 full size up and Wide. Fit well and a good roomy toe area.
I ordered the wide width, and it wasn't wide enough, the whole to box felt cramped, side to side and top to bottom. I didn't evaluate them beyond that.
So comfortable: I have a non-Gore-Tex version of this shoe and love it. It is very comfortable and it is also stable. I wanted a waterproof pair so ordered this one. It is as comfortable and stable as the non GT. However, on my phone and computer monitor, this shoe looks like a dusty rose but in person it is very purple. Too purple for me so I reluctantly sent it back and will keep an eye out for the next color line.
