Waterproof, Rugged, and Comfortable: I have had these shoes for a couple months now and they are the real deal. They are my hybrid running/trail hiking shoes, and they are holding up great. The waterproofing saved me crossing shallow streams and running through puddles, and the grip on the shoe keeps me locked in on the side of a mountain. Overall very impressed, and they just look sweet too!

Minimal break in time and light on the foot. Very comfortable for 10 plus hours of wear time. Waterproof needs touching up after about a month or so. Otherwise I would purchase them again.

Runs a Little Short: I feel the GTX version runs slightly shorter than the normal Genesis. The GTX is definitely stiffer which could be the difference. I love the color way.

First pair: My first pair of Salomon shoes and I love the fit. Great for scrambling around on trails and dunes in my area. I love the way they hold firmly to my feet when edging.
