Great option: I bought few weeks ago and went on a trip. At the start seemed too rigid. After a week it was much more comfortable. Try the trail running option if you want more comfort. Love the lace tech.

GREAT BOOTS! Bought these about a month ago. Was looking for something I can run in during emergencies, that kept my feet dry in the rain, and I could stand/walk in for hours. These boots have lived up to that. They do run a bit small, kind of wish I'd gone a half size bigger at first but now, they've been great. If they made them in ALL black, I'd but those too!

I bought these for my trip to Oregon in the spring . Most of my hikes were really wet and middle. These shoes did great especially with the GORTEX. Sturdy, comfortable, and reliable.

I am on my 3rd pair of Gortex shoes from Salomon. These shoes are very comfortable and keep your feet dry.
