I love this iron , Macy’s only had 2 when I got it . Search others stores in the mall , they didn’t have them . I been using this iron since 1999. I will not switch . Other stores had Black & Decker . The exact same iron went out on me . I had to make sure I got another one . Thanks Macys for having it in the store .

The first time using the iron it turned black on the bottom of the iron and scorched a new shirt do not buy!

Toxic smell
After using this a second time the smell that comes off the steam smells like toxic. It actually reeked up my ironing board and needs to be air out. When I lift up the iron when it’s steaming my garment, silver metal particles fly out from it. Definitely going to return. I have never come across a bad smelling iron.
