I just love the machine !

Missing parts. Set to wrong setting as per manual

This is the second one of these I’ve bought. We have used the first one every day for the last 8 years and running strong. They make GREAT coffee! We’re still using the old one in our RV and using the new one at home. I am sure this machine will serve us for many years to come.

I love this espresso machine. The coffe tastes amazing.

I’m really happy with the BES870XL Barista Express. It looks beautiful on the counter and makes delicious, café-quality espresso at home. The built-in grinder is very convenient, and once you get the settings right, the results are amazing. Definitely a great choice for coffee lovers!

This espresso maker makes perfect coffee. However, the gasket chosen for the group head is too thick. I struggle to get the portafilter into the group head. I had to order Molykote grease from 3M and that only makes it slightly better. I owned this machine before and NEVER had to struggle. Something changed...for the worse!

This machine is still new to us, only a week or so, so we are still fine tuning the grind & mastering the steam wand. Already the coffee is tasting better than our previous machine which was not a Sage. The only problem that we are encountering is the rather alarming amount of water appearing in the tray underneath after making two coffees!

I am struck by how my machine won't program, even though I am following the instructions. As a result, I have had to manually measure each time I pull a shot. Still, the shot quality is good! I am just a little disappointed though.

The unit was broken before even taking it out of the box, poor quality and too complicated to use at that price point.
