Lenox Chelse Muse 18/10 Stainless Steel 65-Pc. Flatware Set, Service for 12, Created for Macy's

I was so excited to receive this set as a wedding gift, but as stated in other reviews, the knives started to rust not long after use. I noted someone else said they emailed Lenox and were told this is just what happens when placed in the dishwasher. I find that hard to believe as my mother in law has had her Lenox flatware for years, and she only washes her dishes in the dishwasher. All her flatware is still in wonderful shape. Not sure if the issue is just with this set or not. But for the amount of money spent by my family, I’m very disappointed.

I am extremely disappointed with this set. The knives started developing rust spots within the first week of use, and the problem only got worse over time. I should have returned the set when it first started happening, but instead I kept trying to clean and maintain them. Now the corrosion is so severe that they are beyond repair. What makes this even more frustrating is that the forks and spoons are perfectly fine. The issue is only with the knives, which are clearly made from inferior-quality material. For a Lenox stainless steel flatware set, this is completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this set to anyone. After spending this much money, I never expected to end up throwing the knives away. Very disappointing quality and a waste of money.

This is a beautiful set of stainless silver, and it is also very comfortable to hold. My husband gave me the set as a birthday present after I picked it out, and I am thrilled with it. The weigh feels substantial, so that it doesn't feel cheap, but yet it's not so heavy that it's uncomfortable. I don't think you'll go wrong with this set!

Beautiful shape and design but the high-finish left water spots even when my regular set rinsed spot-free. I can’t hand dry these with a family of four. Unfortunately I’ll have to return.
