Villeroy & Boch Audun Breakfast Cup

this is an elegant, and different breakfast cup, holding a decent cup of tea or coffee, with good lip edge

I purchased the Audun Ferme Breakfast cup and saucer because I fell in love with the pattern. I thought those two pieces would satisfy me. HA!! I so loved the way the cup felt in my hand and the pattern even more in person that I have been ordering pieces as they have gone on sale. I have only been using the cup and saucer for about 2 months but it washes up easily and I think my coffee and tea taste better. ;)

These cups are robust enough to use everyday, almost invincible ( but not quite!). It’s bigger than a normal cup but its design allows it to fit my Nespresso machine for 1 and 1/2 shots and 75 ml of milk; just how I like it. My previous Audun Ferme cup didn’t survive a heavy knock and fall, but I missed it so much I treated myself to a replacement.

Looks expensive too (because it is!). It can hold 10 oz of coffee so it’s not too small nor too big. Just right. I’m glad I bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The porcelain does not do well with cutlery. It leaves gray lines that only hard scrubbing can get rid of. It leaves a dull film on the plates. I love the design. I regret I bought it.

Well made. Gorgeous and beautiful breakfast cup. Also I would be happy using everyday...I am so love in this cup.
