Simplehuman 45 Liter Slim Kitchen Trash Can with Liner Pocket

I purchased one in 2020 and thanks to the 10 year warranty I am on my second replacement! These cheaply made cans last an average of 3 years so I know I'll need one more replacement. In the interim I use my 16 year old Simplehuman can that has a solid exterior and a removable plastic inner container with the foot pedal that works beautifully while the cheap, all-in-one nonsense starts to warp after 18 months then comes apart within the next 18 months. Hopefully the newer models on the website are more durable.

This trash can looks beautiful and works flawlessly. Perfect.

I was not happy with this product. It is a convenient size and looks good but is difficult to change the bags and it does not stay open without stepping on the pedal. I bought a simplehuman 40 Liter trash can (old style) instead.

We live in a condo, small kitchen. The Simplehuman brand is excellent, and this particular trash can is perfect! It’s slim, on the back wall, so we didn’t lose too much space! Absolutely love it, I would highly recommend it!

Sleek and minimalist! Does exactly what it’s meant to and the pods are a great added touch.

Great product, speedy service and really good follow through. Good quality and value.

Perfect. Buy the bags that are meant for it. It seals quietly and thoroughly. I love it!

This is a really nice looking trashcan that functions well. While it isn't completely silent operation, it is soft close and does not clang at all. It's easy to change the bag out and I really like that the bag is completely hidden. The only thing that could be improved is that the lid doesn't open all the way back when you press the pedal, or when you have it open for bag change. It won't have any chance of dinging your wall this way, but it just feels like it stops a little short to me. I'm sure it's going to last a long time.

We are so happy we upgraded to this kitchen trash can. It fits perfectly next to our fridge and is easy to empty. More than enough space, absolutely love it.

Who would have thought a trash can could be cool? This one is, but comes with a high price tag. Needed it for a small apt that has the kitchen & living area in the same space. Wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing and kept smells in. This did the trick!
