I used the info regarding sizing and saw that items are larger than expected. Ok, that's not helpful when your size guide tells you, using actual measurements, that an XL is the size to order. If Columbia knows the size runs large, change the size guide. It is too large.

Great fit under the Arms the best ever! As a GC & Roofing Company I have been wearing this same shirt for 12-13 years. I have 11-15 different Timiami shirts.

I work outside in Central Texas heat, spend time on the water, and live in a climate where a regular cotton button-down just soaks through and stays wet. The Tamiami II actually stays comfortable. Breathability is the biggest reason I keep buying them. The mesh-lined back vents actually move air instead of just looking like they should. Moisture-wicking is real too — sweat gets pulled off your skin and the shirt dries fast instead of clinging. After a long day it still doesn’t smell like a gym bag. Sun protection is UPF 40 and I notice it. I’m out in the sun a lot and these don’t leave me cooked at the end of the day the way cheaper shirts do. Durability has been solid — I wash them constantly and they hold up, don’t pill much, and the ripstop fabric doesn’t snag as easy as it looks like it should. Fit is relaxed/regular. They run a little roomy, which I want in this heat. Not sloppy, just enough room to move and let air through. Pockets and the rod holder loop are actually useful, not just decoration. If you live somewhere hot and spend real time outside, this is the shirt. I stopped looking for anything else.
