I love these dishes! I bought them to replace my old every day Mikasa French Country dishes that were 31 years old! The glaze started cracking and we started getting rid of the problem plates. Over the years so many have seen better days -that I had 6 dishes left of a service of 12. I wanted a similar look but lighter and easier to load in dishwasher if needed. These are perfect. Looks like a French Country style but has more finesse to it from the vitrified glaze and gentle curve. Beautiful in the hand and lovely on the table. The rimmed pasta/soup plate doesn't hold much just 8oz. Where as my old dishes were 12oz. but I don't care if they are on the smaller size. They are a fine set of 6 dishes. I wish they were a complete set, i.e. mugs included. I had to buy the mugs separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Villeroy & Boch Manoir dinnerware set and have been very pleased with its attractiveness and durability.
Purchased last month, quality, glaze and whiteness are great. No blemishes found
Love my new dinnerware, it's elegant and perfect for my table!
Arrived in great condition!
A set of the plates came broken
Great price for this brand.
I really love this product, and there was nothing wrong with the item itself. However, the packaging I received made me feel like it might have been a returned item that was sent to me. The sealing tape on the box had already been cut open, as if someone had previously opened it. Although I liked the set very much, I was disappointed because it seemed like I had received a returned package. That was the only part that left me feeling dissatisfied.
So disappointed one of the dinner plates was cracked and I tried to get a replacement. They wanted me to send the whole step back after we just put it all away. They would not send me one plate as a replacement not too happy with their services.
These dishes are beautiful and an off-white color that goes well with any table setting. My friend say they’re so stylish and elegant looking.
