Cuisinart DBM-8 Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill Coffee Grinder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this burr grinder (replacing a blade grinder) to get a consistent, coarse grind for cold brew coffee. Got neither. Even on the coarsest setting available, I get a fair amount of "sticky dust" that clings to and accumulates on the side of the receiving container, and the overall grind size is finer than the off-the-shelf, pre-ground, bagged product I get for hot drip coffee at the grocery store. Add in the cleaning/washing required of the equipment, as opposed to the bagged coffee, and it's an overall loss for me. I'll try it a couple more times, and if the grind-size issue continues (which I suspect it will), it goes in the next garage sale.

This is the one. Look no further. The best process.

This is my second Cuisinart coffee grinder, my first one lasted for many years.I like the quality and durability only the cup slider is a bit tricky. This new one is quieter than previous grinder..

This purchase was a replacement for my first Cuisinart coffee grinder which finally gave up the ghost after many, many years and lots of coffee beans. I was absolutely sold on the first one which is why I bought the machine again.

I bought this coffee grinder and I was pleased at the time. Since the purchase, the coffee grinder has begun to smoke. Isn't it ironic that it began to malfunction a few days after the warranty expired. A smoking coffee grinder seems like an item that Neds to be recalled!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this product on line and now wish we had not. This coffee bean grinder worked ok initially but soon produced much more noise than it did ground coffee. We suspect that blades that grind the beans dull in short order. While Cuisinart has in the past had a reputation for higher quality products someone missed the mark with this product. We do not recommend purchasing this product and now have different feelings about the brand in general.
