Clarks Women's Breeze Faye Round Toe Booties

I bought these because they came in a wide width, flat flexible sole, and dark brown color with the black soles. The traction is good although not sure about protection on ice or very slick surfaces. They are light weight and comfortable. The velcro closures flaps on both sides both sides make getting in and out of these booties easy and are stylish. You can adjust the top of the bootie, using the velcro closures, to how tight or loose you like the fit around your leg. The toe is somewhat narrow even in the wide width. The material is some kind of 'manmade textile' looks similar to suede. I thought -by the picture- that they looked more leather-like but they are not. The material is stretchy and somewhat thin and reminds me of neoprene as used for saddle pads and wraps for horses but not as thick. Not sure how well they will hold up in water or snow but for the autumn season are comfy and warm enough.
